CHR A2005 PTFE-Glass Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape
PTFE-Glass Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape
CHR® A2005 is fibreglass fabric impregnated with PTFE dispersion and coated with high-temperature, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive.
CHR® A2005 is a very durable and versatile product. The combination of PTFE, fibreglass and a high temperature silicone adhesive allows A2005 to perform in continuous temperatures up to 260 °C. A2005 is dimensionally stable and resistant to tears, punctures, abrasion and wear. It will not “cold flow” under heavy loads.
CHR® A2005 is available in widths from 6.35 mm to 991 mm wide. Standard roll length is 16.5 m or 33 m. CHR® A2005 is available with or without a liner.
CHR® A2005 is frequently used by the packaging industry as a release surface on heat sealers, blister formation and form-fill-seal equipment. The durability and anti-stick properties of CHR® A2005 also make it an ideal material for the lining of guide rails, chutes and slides. The high temperature capabilities and non-stick properties of CHR® A2005 allow it to perform as an excellent release surface in the composite aircraft industry.
