Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Premium SG06 is fiberglass fabric impregnated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) dispersion and coated with high-temperature, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive.
Features / Benefits
SG06 is a very durable and versatile product. The combination of PTFE, fiberglass and a hightemperature silicone adhesive allows SG06 to perform in continuous temperatures up to 500°F. SG06 is dimensionally stable and resistant to tears, punctures, abrasion and wear. It will not “cold flow” under heavy loads.
SG06 is available in 3, 5, 6, 10 and 14 mil thicknesses and widths from 1/4" to 39" wide. Standard roll length is 18 or 36 yards long. SG06 is available with or without a liner.
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Premium SG06 is frequently used by the packaging industry as a release surface on heat sealers, blister formation and form-fill-seal equipment. The durability and anti-stick properties of SG06 also make it an ideal material for the lining of guide rails, chutes and slides. The high-temperature capabilities and non-stick properties of SG06 allow it to perform as an excellent release surface in the composite aircraft industry.
